I’m an award-winning writer and TV presenter with experience working on websites, TV channels, magazines and newspapers across the world.
After beginning my career as a journalist in local newspapers and football match reporting, I joined the FHM team in 2006, writing features and presenting for FHMTV. In addition to writing daily features, haranguing celebrities on the red carpet and contributing reviews of the latest music and film, my on-screen adventures ranged from the exotic (flying in the Red Bull Air Race in Istanbul) to the downright bizarre (roaming the streets of London dressed in a home-made Transformers outfit in celebration of the blockbuster movie franchise).
After a stint writing travel articles for Ryanair’s in-flight magazine and another working for former England footballer Jamie Redknapp’s luxury lifestyle magazine venture ICON, I launched sports entertainment website The Spoiler in 2007. It won critical acclaim from The Guardian and the BBC, and was voted as one of the “Blogs of the Decade” by Sports Illustrated.
I started presenting the Travel Channel series Travel 360 in 2008, extolling the virtues of cities in Spain, Norway, the Czech Republic and Holland.
In 2009 I moved to the biggest-selling men’s magazine in the UK, Men’s Health. As Online Editor I helped design, launch and maintain a brand-new site design, and contributed regular features and race reviews to sister magazine Runner’s World.
I left London to start a new life of freelancing in the USA in 2011. Having contributed to the Yahoo!’s incredibly successful coverage of World Cup 2010 (100m+ page views during the tournament), I now write for the Dirty Tackle blog on a regular basis.
I also present and write for Kick TV, co-hosted by former US international Jimmy Conrad. Filmed in New York City and broadcast every day on YouTube, we take an irreverent look at the latest international soccer news. I also get regular opportunities to indulge my passion for music at the Kick TV studios.
I am available for features, advertorial copywriting, voice overs and TV presenting opportunities. Get in contact at email@example.com
